Y’all, I’ve been on a super health kick lately. I think that happens every time I suffer from any type of physical ailment- whether it’s a common cold or something more pressing.  I realize after having suffered from a few years of going through a major “my body’s broken” illness that I need to, more than ever before, take really, really good care of myself.

And I can’t do that by binging on Starbucks lemon loaf and a mocha every day. I’ve learned the hard way. Acid reflux and GERD are huge and painful reminders that I must take care of myself all. the. time.

So…for a few announcements…

This week has been busy over at my homeschool blog and I’ll recap my last few weeks of blogging there.

It’s basically fall (although it still feels like summer here in Silicon Valley). I had to get into the fall spirit, so a recap on fall leaves activities were in order. I shared my fall leaves math activity for preschool and kinder (with video) and a fall leaves suncatcher activity I did with my oldest several years ago (video included on this too.)

As for this week’s homeschool blogging, I announced the winner of the $50 gift certificate given away by Homeschool Panda.

And last, but not least, I felt it super imperative to talk about self care on this video and blog post. Moms, you know how we tend to neglect ourselves.

How about we not do that anymore?  How about we implement some self care rituals?  We are worth it- so worth it!
